The weather on Saturday was bummer, a steady rain engulfed the whole day. But in spite of the rain, the people toted umbrellas and wore their rain gear and some just veered in and out of the vendors tents and the old Bluefield Trolley. Everyone had a wonderful day. Rockets still soared at Camp Coalwood and singing by various bands played all day on the Club House porch while Homer Hickam and the Rocket Boys signed autographs in the Methodist Church. Little Richard's church was a place to dry out and the ladies served ice cream. Food was abundent and some sold out. You could find everything from dry shirts and hats to illuminating rocket cigaratte lighters . The small carnival rides never slowed down and at the end of the day - all was well.
See ya Next year!
