West Virginia Day---2007

Another beautiful day in Hillsville.This years crowd was a lot smaller than previous years .About 200.former residends showed up.The most important thing that everyone had a good time seeing old friends and making new ones

This year was special to me .the "Coalwood book" was made available to the people. It was recieved very well.

We also had a special guest from the Carter Foundation .Giving a update on the restoration of the Carter house .

The towns of Hillsville and Coalwood and Caretta .are linked forever to the Carters.

Ruthie and Joe Diviak  were attending this year they are 92 years young and authors in there own right.

If you missed this year please try to attend next year.You dont want to miss all the good food and good friends!!!!!
