The get together is in Hillsville, VA each September at the V.F.W. building.
Jack Carroll is the Master of Cermonies.
Rev. Bill Deel, former pastor of the Coalwood United Methodist Church, gave the invocation.
Del. Lacy Wright is presenting Jack and his wife Melanie with a legislative decree in reconizing them for their hard work for organizing the WV DAY CELEBRATION.
Jack was taken by surprise, but very proud!
Along with the decree Jack and his wife Melanie, were given a WV Gold State Seal pin. A lot of hard work goes into planning this special day up for all of us.

And a fine spread it was. Over 400 people attended this year and nobody went away hungey. Old fashion pot luck. You just can't beat WV cooking!
